Q: Is the Palo Analyzer available for free?

A: The Palo Analyzer - with advanced functionality regarding Palo Pivot - is only offered as als zu Premium Version. Read the details.


 

Q: Is Palo for OpenOffice available for free?

A: Yes, up to version 2.0.3. The new versions from 2.1 on are only offered as Premium Version.


Q: Is Palo Java API available for free?

A: Ja, die Palo Java API ist freie Software. Anbieter, die die Palo Java API in Ihrer eigenen kommerziellen Software einsetzen möchten können dies mit dem Erwerb einer OEM Lizenz.


Q: Which Java Versions are supported?

A: Currently we support JDK 1.4, JDK 1.5 and JDK 6. We will support future JDK's as well.



Q: Which operating systems are supported by JPalo Products?

A: Any operating system that is supported by Java and Palo Server. Currently though it is only tested under Windows and Linux.



Q: Is there support for JPalo Products available?

A: Advanced support is available with the Premium Edition.

For the free software use the Palo Forum to post questions or state problems. Your entries will be checked by the Tensegrity team regularly. If you need Support with guaranteed Service-Levels, Code-Fixes and personal contact upon demand,contact us.

We offer unlimited Support per eMail for a defined amount of Palo-Servers and contact persons (Support-Contacts) in your company.

We also offer development services, if you need support in that area.



Q: Who is behind JPalo?

A: JPalo Products are developed by Tensegrity. Visit www.tensegrity-software.com to learn more about Tensegrity products and services.



Q: What additional software is required for the JPalo products? ?

A:  For the use of Pivot Palo / Palo Analyzer an Apache Tomcat Version 6.0 is required. Palo for Open Office needs Open Office Version 3.0. 

Both products require a Palo Server installation.
