Palo Java API

We support Java developers, who would like to create custom applicaitons using Palo, with the definition and development of an object oriented Java API for Palo. Using this API you can easily access Palo while implementing Java based business applications, web portals or web services.

Another highlight of the current APIs is the access to XMLA supporting OLAP databases using the Java API. If you connect to a XMLA data source, you can use the same interfaces, which you use to query the Palo Server, to retrieve information about OLAP databases that support XMLA. OLAP databases that support XMLA are e.g. Microsoft Analysis Services, SAP BW or Mondrian.

The Palo Java API is used by the Palo Client, Palo Pivot , Palo ETL Server and the Palo OpenOffice Addin. It is subject to constant extension and optimization. It also provides additional functionalities or utilities, which extend the core API functionality of the Palo Server.

New features of new Palo Server versions are provided as soon as possible.
