Palo ETL Client

The Palo ETL Client provides a user interface to create and manage scripts for the Palo ETL Server.

The Palo ETL Server from Jedox enables the extraction of data from heterogeneous sources as well as the transformation and the loading of master and transaction data into Palo models. With the help of the Palo ETL Server, a flexible data import can be executed.

The Palo ETL Server itself comes without any user interface and is configured by XML scripts. The Palo ETL Client provides a comfortable user interface to create, edit and manage the scripts. It also provides the user interface to execute scripts and monitor the execution results.

The Palo ETL Client will be published in 4 Milestones, providing a more comfortable UI with each milestone. Where a UI is not provided with a milestone, the XML Script can be edited.

The Palo ETL Client is developed using Ajax technologies. You only need a common internet browser and no additional software installation on the client is necessary. On the server side a Tomcat Applications Server is a prerequisite and the Palo ETL Server.

Demo

With the version that runs on our demo server, you can view the sample scripts that were created for the evaluation of the Palo ETL Client. Expand the elements of the ETL Script Explorer and open a script or its elemens by double clicking on the desired item. An editor for the specific item opens. Either we provided a specific editor for the scipt part or a generic XML Editor opens. The generic editors will be replaced step by step with upcoming milestones. The scripts are restored over night and therefore your changes will be lost after that is completed.

Here you can start the Palo ETL Client to view and edit some export scripts provided with the Palo ETL Server. To open the new Palo ETL Client 1.2 for the first time, you need to
