Palo Web Client

The Palo Web Client provides browsing functionalities to view and edit Palo Server data, just like with the Palo Client. You can open cubes, change the dimensions assignment and change the selected element for the filter dimensions using the mouse. Nesting of dimensions and expand or collapsing of dimension hierarchies is also supported. The Palo Web Client also allows the access to XMLA based databases. This way you can access and view cubes from Microsoft Analysis Services Databases, SAP BW or Mondrian OLAP Databases.

Views can be saved and reloaded. As the Palo Client and the Palo Web Client refer to the same repository, all views are available instantly in both products. Cell Values or consolidated values can be edited. You can view multiple cubes in parallel.

The Palo Web Client also shows the favourite views like the Palo Client as an optional view. Subsets already defined within the Palo Client can also be used to filter dimension elements within the cube browser.

The Palo Web Client does not provide modelling capabilities.

The Palo Web Client is developed using Ajax technologies. You only need a common browser and no additional software installation on the client is necessary. On the server side a Tomcat Applications Server is a prerequisite.

Start Palo Web Client Demo

With the version that runs on our demo server, you can view a sample model that we created for the evaluation of the Palo Web Client. Expand the elements of the database explorer and open a cube for viewing by clicking on it. Within this view you can drag and drop the dimensions and assign them to an axis and select new elements for the filter dimensions. You can create you own views and save them. The database is restored over night and therefore you changes will be lost after that is completed

We recommend Firefox for best results and performance.
